Indications and Usage
Decitabine is FDA approved to treat adults with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) or chronic myelomonocytic leukemia.
Side effects needing medical attention
Signs of an allergic reaction (hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat); fever, chills, body aches or other flulike symptoms; unusual bleeding or bruising; pale skin; unusual weakness; white patches or sores inside the mouth or on the lips; swelling in the hands, ankles or feet.
