Peripheral T-cell lymphomas (PTCLs) are uncommon and aggressive types of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) that develop in mature white blood cells called “T cells” and “natural killer,” or NK, cells. This educational program featured clinical specialists, advocates, and families facing PTCLs annd covered:
- What information is included in a pathology report, and how it is used to select therapy
- Why a treatment may be switched if there is a relapse
- Effective communication with physicians, including tips for asking questions and seeking a second opinion
