A. The funds raised from your campaign have a direct impact on driving new cancer treatments, access to patient services and the core promises of the LLS mission.
Q. WHICH LLS CHAPTER DOES MY FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN BENEFIT?
A. The zip code of your campaign donors will drive the allocation of your fundraising campaign to the nearest LLS chapter.

A. LLS has partnered with Crowdrise to provide easy access to personalized fundraising pages that are linked directly to LLS.
Q. WHY CROWDRISE?
A. Crowdrise is committed to supporting LLS in reaching a broader audience of fundraisers to increase the overall impact of volunteer-driven fundraising. The platform is accessed by a wide range of supporters who are interested in making a difference – which in turn increases LLS’s exposure beyond our company-managed platforms.
Q. HOW CAN I CUSTOMIZE MY FUNDRAISING PAGE?
A. As soon as you create your account on Crowdrise, you can personalize your page with photos/color templates/text and much more.
Q. HOW CAN I SHARE MY FUNDRAISING PAGE?
A. Crowdrise provides direct sharing to your social media accounts and also provides simple instructions for getting the word out about your fundraiser as soon as you activate your page.
Q. CAN OTHER PEOPLE FUNDRAISE FOR MY CAMPAIGN?
A. Yes, sub-teams can be easily created directly from your main campaign page. All you need to do is share your fundraising page link and ask people to “join the team” – which they can do directly from your page.
Q. I WANT TO START A FUNDRAISER TO HONOR A LOVED ONE WHO RECENTLY PASSED AWAY – HOW CAN I START A FUNDRAISING PAGE WITH LLS LIFESTYLE?
A. Lifestyle provides the easiest path to set up a fundraising campaign to honor a loved one. Crowdrise provides specific options to start fundraising campaigns to honor loved ones – and it only takes a few clicks to get started.
Q. DOES ALL OF THE MONEY RAISED ON CROWDRISE GO TO LLS?
A. Yes, every fundraising campaign created on Crowdrise is linked to LLS and we process all donations directly from your fundraising campaigns.
Q. CAN I APPLY FUNDS RAISED ON CROWDRISE TO MY CAMPAIGN-BASED FUNDRAISERS BENEFITTING LLS (TEAM IN TRAINING, LIGHT THE NIGHT, ETC.)?
A. All Lifestyle fundraisers are separate campaigns and cannot be combined with other LLS fundraisers that are tied to an LLS campaign like Team In Training, Light The Night, Man Woman of The Year, etc.
All donations for LLS campaigns must be processed on LLS-hosted fundraising pages. Please contact your LLS staff contact for more information about accessing your page to ensure that all donations are processed correctly.
Q. DOES CROWDRISE HAVE PROCESSING FEES?
A. Yes, the platform applies a standard processing rate for all donations received. These fees cover fundraising page maintenance, customer support and donation processing. Credit card processing fees can be covered by the donor to maximize their contribution to LLS.
Q. ARE DONATIONS MADE TO LIFESTYLE FUNDRAISING PAGES TAX-DEDUCTIBLE?
A. Yes, every donation is tax-deductible and they will receive a complete record of their donation after completing the transaction.
