To date, LLS has invested more than $1 billion in blood cancer research. But our research investment isn't fully realized until every blood cancer patient is cured or able to manage his or her disease with good quality of life.
If you choose to support research with a gift of $10,000 or more, you might wish to make a charitable investment in one of nine research portfolios. Through a disease-specific portfolio, you can support multiple projects at leading cancer centers and universities that focus on the specific blood cancer that concerns you.
Current LLS research portfolios include the following categories:
- acute lymphoblastic leukemia
- acute myeloid leukemia
- chronic lymphocytic leukemia
- chronic myeloid leukemia
- Hodgkin lymphoma
- myeloma
- non-Hodgkin lymphoma (aggressive)
- non-Hodgkin lymphoma (indolent)
- pediatric blood cancers
These portfolios are representative samples of LLS-funded research. If you don't see your topic of interest here, contact our Philanthropy staff.
