For the 19th consecutive year, the national off-price retailer, Burlington Stores, will serve as the #1 National Corporate Partner and Honored Friend of LLS.
Over the past 18 years, Burlington has raised nearly $43.8 million to help fund innovative cancer research and patient services by engaging its generous customers to donate $1 or more at checkout. In addition, thousands of its associates have participated in Light The Night events across the country. This year’s campaign is hosted in Burlington’s more than 739 store locations nationwide and will run from September 28 through November 30.
This year, funds raised in all Burlington store locations nationwide will not only support LLS’s mission to find cures and help blood cancer patients access the care they need, but also support programs including The LLS Children’s Initiative. LLS’s newly established initiative is setting out to change the course of treatment and care and provides much-needed financial and emotional support to the children and their families impacted by blood cancer.

Auden’s Story
Eight-year-old Auden was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) in May 2015 – one month after him and his twin sister, Emery, celebrated their third birthday.
Immediately, Auden underwent aggressive treatment causing him to have blood stream infections, anaphylactic reactions, kidney stones and broken bones, just to name a few. But he kept a positive attitude through it all and Emery has been by his side, cheering him on at every stage of his cancer journey.
Auden’s treatment continued until August 2018, and today, he is proud to say he is cancer-free!
“There may be dark times, but both my children are here in my arms at the end of the day, and that’s more than a lot of people dealing with cancer can say,” said Auden’s mom, Lauren. “LLS has provided our family with hope and something to look forward to. And sometimes that’s all you can ask when you’ve endured what we have.”
